38You should be aware that DL does not currently have an on-site messaging capabilities. All messaging is done between users directly using their email addresses and email providers. When responding to a post that is posted on DL, DL will deliver your message via email to the post's poster. This message will be delivered along with an email address that you want the post Poster to respond to. The default email DL sends along with your message is the email that you originally used to sign up for an account on DL. This 'respond-to' email address can be changed by you to a different email address when you are sending a message. This allows you to provide a separate, more private email address users can respond to your message.
